starion i/c

Alright I was wondering how good the starion i/c was and how much you guys would pay for one. Also, I think it would be nice to get a fmic as one of the first mods, what do you think? Thanks.

Well, I would go for an NPR over a starion.. The starions usually go for ~$200. The NPR usually goes for around $250..

Either would be an improvement over stock.. The starion is probably better suited for a stock car, but will be to small for a larger turbo..

What about $120 for a starion? I thought it was a pretty good price and would get me through an upgraded stock turbo and all the way through till I get an entire larger turbo.

$120 is a good price.. It should do ok on a stock turbo.. I don't know how well it will do on an upgraded turbo.

Anyone ever use it on a hybrid turbo?

Ya I figure it will do good until I get a T04 in the far future. What about these NPRs? I can get one of those for $200.

Any show with a machine that can do mandrel bends.. it will probably cost you ~$150, depending on how many bends you need..

Supposedly...the Starions are good for a little of 15psi. There are two types though, the 86/88 are 16row and the 89 up is a 14 row...from what I've heard the 14 row is the better of the two and it should be fine even w/ a modified stock turbo(such as a T4 upgrade)...anything more then about 15/16psi your gonna want to contact GReddy or Apexi and get a core/endtank setup...
