Question Will resurfacing my flywheel w/o putting on a new clutch hurt?

so will it? I just replaced the oil seal behind the flywheel and i didn't want to take any shortcuts, but i just replaced my clutch like 6 months ago, and so will having it resurfaced do any damage with my old clutch disc? just want to be sure...

If you have it done professionally NO. Is your Flywheel bowled, meaning the center of the area where the clutch touches deeper than the outside, or is it messed up in anyway? If you are running a stock clutch I doubt that you would need to have it resurfaced.

I can't remember is the stock flywheel is a 2stage flywheel or not, ( haven't had one in years) but if it is then you will have to mill both areas in exact increments or damage will most likely occur to your clutch.

When looking at your flywheel and you only see some dark blue hot spots or some residual clutch there you can just use some sand paper and clean those areas up, I always sanpaper the pressure plate and flywheel anyway before assembling.
