So I bought some brake cleaner tonight I am gonna start cleaning everything off and getting parts laid out on the table so I can see what Ihave, what I astill need and what I will not need...

I know I am gonnareplace the needle bearings and the spacers so I will prolly buy those this weekend...

The templates should be here tomorrow or Friday.. I need to buy a scribe and some dychem so I can coat the marking surface..

hopefully more pics by the weekend...

btw curious since I am using the S4 n/a wire harness and S4 t2 ecu will I need to use the knock sensor that is on the S5 engine?

OK thats my updates for today.. I plan to do more work and painting this weekend...

As I receive more or get more done I will post pics and updates...

As of right now including the engine and all the parts I have bought I roughly calculate about 1800.00

 

OK today was the day I began to port the irons...

I was quite scared but RX7Tuner was there to push me and make me do it lol...

I used the Pineapple racing template above and gave it the newbie porting Spooled up Racing push lol...

The grinding is done, I need to lots of sanding right now so I will have these done by wednesday I hope....

Sand those babies up and get em smooth, and I think they will look reeeeaaaal good!

 

I think the intermediate iron looks phenomenal

 

You would.... I did the front and rear irons and RX7tuner did the intermediate iron... (I did not think he was good enough to handle the bigger ports)

Well I could not go to bed without getting the exhaust ports cut..

Looks great so far. this thread is giving me inspiration to rebuild and port my motor (well, the motor that i'll get eventually haha.) hope to see you at one of the MIrotaryclub meets once I get my car up and running.

sadly the MI rotary meets haven't been very big in a while. I always seem to miss them.
