Solid Mounts opinions?

so right now I have a vibration at 2900 and above and when the car is either in gear or no gear, so that means motor mounts, I figure that they are stock (I haven't noticed other wise) and old so I'm debating of upgrading while replacing them.

right now the vibration is annoying me and solid mounts would be a big improvement for the engine and simple to replace.

the poly mounts are the most expensive (120+) and if I was going solid mount it wouldnt be as solid as the aluminum ones, but would it give it less of a vibration rather than aluminum?

the mazda stock mounts are 40 each (plus shipping) and are twice as rigid as stock

stock ones are 32 a piece and will offer the least benefit.

aluminum ones are the cheapest for 40 shipped and offer the biggest performance but will they make my interior rattle even more?

anyone have any experience with this, I'm kinda on the fence about the whole thing but I dont want to be disappointed

searching I keep finding mixed and contradicting views on the whole vibration thing, this car is meant to be a daily driver the exhaust is loud enough, I dont need the chassis and the interior trying to compete.

From what I've heard from the local rotary Guru he's seen poly ones rip, stock ones rip...the harded rubber ones (mazda) seem to work best.
I rode in an FC with solid mounts....the whole car vibrates. Not super bad, but it's not the most comfy. If you're DD the car...don't. I'm not DDing my car and still won't run solid.

the stock ones, being the softest, would most likely transfer the least vibration.

I have mazda comp. mounts. Get them, you'll be satisfied.

If you want to further restrict engine movement, then get a torque brace.

i have the aluminum engine mounts and MMR hard plastic everything else in the driveline and suspension. With coilovers and everythign else the car is pretty much a tank, but i love how direct the throttle inputs are in making the car move as opposed to slacking the driveline. I wouldn't go with full aluminum mounts all around unless you like breaking transmissions, but i definately recommend the solid engine mounts.

yeah that would be awesome but way overboard for my needs. Id figure that the difference in vibration from stock to mazdaspeed mounts isnt very noticible and will last longer.
