Smokes like a bee-otch
got the 7 fired up, it's been sitting for about 3 yrs, it cranks up nicely but at first it shot out alot of smoke, which is understandable for the car sitting as long as it did, eventually the smoke cleared and it ran nice, but today it started shooting out a thick thick blueish white smoke, i know blue smoke can mean oil, someone please help me!!!

Burning off excess fuel after flooding can look like that too can't it?
Dear lord I hope so...
Does it have a special smell? All I smelt was fuel.

search and read all the mixed opinions about using Lucas heavy Duty oil stabilizer to "fix" the problem ... read the "seafoam" threads as well
and if you feel like trying it go ahead ....... it cleared up my smoking issue.

I had the same thing happen with an 82 that had been sitting for over a year. On top of that I flooded the **** out of it trying to get it running. So the fuel "washed" all the seals which made it much worse.
Here is what I did:
-I drained all the oil, dumped in some "motor honey" (thick as ****) and filled it up with half 10w40 and half 20w50.
-Ran it for a good long time, cycling between RPMs and idle.
-After another oil change with the same combination, I ran it around town for a day.
-Drained all the oil out again, filled her up with 10w40, new filter and it NEVER smoked again.
This might work for you. It can't hurt. Also I used cheap Advance Auto Parts oil and filters for the "re-seating" of the seals. Then I switched to Castrol 10w40 and Purolator Pure One filter.
Good Luck!!!
