smoke show?

today i felt it was time to drive my 87tII around a bit, its off the road and i know you have to drive them to keep em healthy. Ran good besides a 6k hessitation in 3rd once after that it was fine, friend came over to help me with the light and i started it up....boy it spit out some mean smoke for about 3 min, he told me his mom had the same problem with her volvo, he said u need to clear it out so i drove it down the road and came back and it was fine, does this mean m turbo needs to be replaced?its all bone stock too

How long has it sit since it has been started? Mine will do that is it has sit for a week or so. Just flooded a little. Does it stop after a few minutes? Is the smoke white? If yes, no worries, just flooding.
