smoke
Without more details, I'm going to say its just smoke from running rich after startup. Very common.
Also, it could just be condensation in your exhaust.
So, unless you are burning a lot of oil, or loosing coolant, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Blue = oil. When did it start? Did it start gradually? How much oil do you use between changes?
Normally, excessive oil smoke means that either your side seals are bad, or your purge valve causing pressure to build in the sump (which forces oil past the side seals).

you're not just hitting the throttle hard immediatly after turning the car on, right? I believe that all sevens will smoke really bad if you nail the gas before the seals have a chance to expand? (Correct me if i'm wrong)

also this did not start gradualy, i went through a period of time where in i wasn;t driving my rex to often, fixing an overheating prob and then it started smoking, but now that you mention pressure, i noticed that my oil pressure kind of wont go all the way up even when pushing it, and keep in mind that if i let it warm up ni smoke...

I have a very similar problem. My car is not a daily driver and I find when ever I start it up it smokes like a champ. More of a white smoke. putting my hand on exhust yeild nothings? Smell is not fuel but more carbon or typical exhust (heavier). This problem started for me right after I had a flooding problem. I put ATF in and it smoked then and ever since. My neighbors all look at me like I am buring the hood down. Oil is not down, water level stays fine. It has been suggested that the side seals are going. Just don't believe that! Still think it is fuel related on start up somehow. If I rev the car seady and hard it will start to smoke again then clears up. I have no problem when I drive it or restart same day. Help???

rotary engines burn oil naturally. i've seen it documented that the burn aporoximetly 1 quart every 500 miles. so unless your burning alot more than that i wouldn't worry.
