from a stop you almost have to rev my car up to go without stalling? its real strange it has almost like lag/deadspot til it hits like 2 grand then it drives normal???

what could the problem be ?? also this is on a 250 mile rebuild. im still in break in period. does it just need tuned or what?

vacum leak maybe? your idle seems fine, there is no "need" to raise it

does this seem like it could be the leading coil...? the idle is fine on it so im pretty sure there isnt a vacuum leak.

fully break in the motor before assuming anything is a problem.

low compression can cause laggy take offs from a dead stop, until the engine has built full compression it may just be laggy. if the compression is low after 1000 miles then take the motor back to them and demand they fix it.

keep in mind RX7store uses used rotor housings in even their $3k+ engines, you could have just gotten a bunk engine.

well i have 250 miles so far on motor.... the car doesnt start up real well. and to take off fro ma stop u almost have to give it a bit of gas to ease off the clutch or else itll stall. just seems like its to intense to just be the motor being broken in/ not having enough compression yet.

its probably not tuned/poorly tuned. or maybe you have a very high friction clutch and a light flywheel and just arent used to it?

it isnt tuned. theyre going to tune it for me after the break in period of 1000 miles...so that should clear sum bugs up. But with it being untuned would that cause it to start up poorly?

That could be a very real possibility.
