Shift ****

Wondering if an rx8 shift **** will fit my S5 convertible (manual 5 spd of course). thanks

It will fit, except that the american Spec RX-8 comes with a 6 speed so the icon on the top won;t be right.

Icemark, are you saying that the JDM RX-8 was a 5 speed? I didn't know that there was a difference in them? Just curious.

yea the Jap version, not JDM= Japanese Domestic Market, came with a 5 speed, i dont know why though...

WTF? Maybe you don't understand what JDM means?

USDM would be the version of the RX8 sold here. JDM would be the version of the car sold in Japan.

Japan, Aus/NZ, and Europe all got the 5 speed on the lower end models.

And the cool thing about the 5 speed **** is that it is luminated at night.

But I have a 6 speed RX-8 **** in my vert. It fits my hand perfect. Picked it up at 7 stock last year for only $20

I have a couple of friends that are stationed in Japan and I could probably have them source the JDM shift ***** if anyone is interested. Just PM me if you want one and I'll see what I can do.

yeah, count me in... if I could get a lighted 5 speed **** for under what corksport has it for; I'd be all over that

I looked for it on CorkSport's site but didn't see it.
