S4 T2 simple boost question...
I searched and couldn't find this simple answer.
My question is what does your boost pressure read when at idle and at anything below 2000 rpm (meaning somewhat low idle). Is it at 0 mmHg or is it at -20 mmHg?

hmm well I thought I checked for ease of turnablility and shaft play and I thought I was good but I was thinking about it and I guess I need to check it more thoroughly.
When you spin your turbo does it take a little bit of pressure from your finger tips before it gives and spins or does it move from the slightest touch?

it takes some pressure to move it, but spins relatively easy, its not going to move if you blow on it like a pin-wheel. If it makes some awful grinding sound, or has makes any friction type sounds, then thats not good, but its probably normal considering if the car has higher mileage, and etc. Check for foward-to-backward shaft movement, and up-and-down shaft movement. There should be little up and down to none, and little front and back to none. If there is excessive movement either way, and if there is a lot of friction type noise, look in to getting a rebuild, or upgrade, etc.
