2-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of engine speed signal:
The buzzer sounds twice and repeats when the vehicle speed signal is missing input and/or no engine speed signal is found (short circuit, broken wire, etc.)

The other is either a screwed up low coolant or oil level.

You could just unplug the little ****** and see if that stops the beeping. My PS computer beeps like a ***** when my battery is low.... dunno why.

The PS computer is that little box to the left of the steering column under the dash and behind the left front speaker. It's mounted downward at a ~45 dEGREE ANGLE AND SHOULD BE PRETTY EASY *cough* damn caps lock..... anyways, it should be easy to unplug and see if it's causing the problem.

BTW, what's with this new car business, I thought you swore off FCs for awhile after your door went up in flames.

*edit: see???? I was right!

Yeah, its not like the current sig is even close the the allowable size... its like twice the allowable size

and you would think that someone that had 3K+ posts would know to read the FAQ for FC for info about beeps

It says sigs are 460x200 in the sticky, with a max allowable size of 20k (he's at 21k). According to firefox, his picture is 460x200.

actually that was the old one... if you look at the forum FAQ on Signatures and Avitars as well as in the FAQ for FC
Signatures and Avatars
1. Custom signatures are enabled, but any graphics used in such signatures are limited to a 20K file size.

2. Signatures are limited to six lines of regular text, including blank lines, or the equivalent size in picture, or picture/text combination.
So his image is bigger than 20K and bigger than 6 lines of text.

But we do know he doesn't read the FAQ or the FAQ for FC

Old? It's in his thread that's newer than any date in the FC FAQ, edited or not.

Which would be 86 pixels in height, by ~450 wide (for the n00bs who have no idea the equivalent).

Looks like someone needs to edit the top sticky! But then again, it also says 6 lines shortly after the pixel limitation.... font size variations anybody? Who knows!

It's the correct dimensions, but not file size

Size of file: 21.23 KB (21743 bytes)

Signatures are to be no larger then 460 x 200 pixels, and a maximum of 20K in size.
1. Custom signatures are enabled, but any graphics used in such signatures are limited to 460 pixels horizontally, 200 pixels vertically, and a 20K file size.

Plus signatures don't need to be included in every single post made, once per thread is all that is needed. What's the point of having it show up in every single post of a thread? Overkill?

Not bitching, just saying.

And we've been over this a THOUSAND TIMES. It has NOTHING to do with the fact it's being hosted anywhere else.
