Hi guys, near me localy there is a white mint condition (inside and out) 10th Aneversary RX-7 Turbo that a owner may consider selling it. The motor runs and starts but it will need replacing based on what the guy said. The man is contemplating to strip it and put a big bloc V-8 in it, and I told him no way man.... car in this good of a shape needs to be keept that way. I havent seen a rx-7 in this good of a shape, so I'm asking you how much is it worth before I ofer him a price.
Again with the "how much is it worth?" question, eh?
How much are you willing to pay for it?
Personally, I find nothing very compelling about the special features of the anniversary edition (wheels, bronze tint, etc.) and wouldn't pay a premium to get them.
Without knowing why the engine needs replacing, I'd have to assume the worst and figure that what's actually being sold is a putative "mint" chassis and interior...so maybe as high as $2500.

My take on the 10 Annie Ed is that sometimes the cars have been 'preserved' and not hacked up. That can make it a really nice example of a TII, but the 'Limited Edition' status is not worth paying for.
Bad thing about the 10 Annie is that that all 88 TII that color have paint issues that will cause the paint to peel. If the one you buy hasn't peeled yet, then it will peel for you.
Buy a nice '88 if you are looking for an S4 TurboII. If it happens to be a 10 Annie, the that is a bonus.
And by the way, he isn't putting a big block V8 in it, most likely it's a small block V8.

and Yea, anything under $1k is a good deal. Personally I'd probably go *up to* $1.5k but no more..
[edit]: lol, Marck.. You think as I do.
