Wink Resolvin the flooding problem!

Hi!

I discovered that when engine is cold and you wanna turn it off without flooding it. Best way is to rev it up to 4k and then turn off the ignition while holding a throttle.
And no trouble starting it next morning.

You must be talking about NA, because if you do that in a Turbo you will get 2, maybe 3 chances to do that. After that, its bye-bye turbo

I remember reading CYMFC3S said this is what he does to prevent flooding. I assume he meant on turbos as well?

I dunno about doing this...
The reason it prevents flooding is that the increased heat from the high revs vaporizes any fuel that's still in there.&nbsp At the same time, it also vaporizes any oil that's in there that helps lubricate the engine normally.&nbsp This might not do anything short term, but I'd like to see if it's safe to do this over a long term stretch.

Really folks, a fuel pump cut-out switch is very easy to install and works everytime.

Do a search?
I've been messing with the idea of doing a write-up, but I'm too lazy at the moment.
Maybe I should get off my butt and go put it up!
