resealing the oil pan

NICE! I thought this was going to be a pain. Thanks for the tips everyone. Thanks Banzai for answering my pm, I'll be ordering next paycheck.

Edit:

After I jack up the car and put it on stands I can just use the same jack with like a piece of wood to lift tranny, right? Also, do I have to put the car up on 4 stands? or can i use just 2? Thanks again for the tip guys.

ok guys just resealed the oil pan and so far no leaking. the right stuff is a great product, just $15 here in missouri. this tme only took me 3 hrs. not bad i think. thx to everyone who put in good info. couldnt of done it with out you.

Hey I also have run into this issue and have purchased the Banzai Racing Pan Brace. Did you have to jack the car up on all fours with axle stands or was two in the front enough room?

It is safer to just raise the front of the car. You could probably do it with a set of ramps. Lifting the engine via the transmission while the car is suspended on four jackstands is just not safe.

ya i just jacked up the front of the car. gave plenty of room. for extra safety i alway put some bricks under the tires incase it falls... bc that would suck.
