Thinking about trimming my clutch fan -.-

Alright so here's the thing, installing this new turbo has been a pain in the *** for a bolt in kit the amount of custom work i have had to do is stupid, that aside now the turbo is in, the fan is about 20mm from the end of the turbo, Now I can but a thermo fan if i have to, but like the stock fan. If i trim a little bit off the edge of all the fan blades and cut room for the air filter in the side of the fan shroud, will this work. Or should i just buy a fan

Here's a pic

maybe theirs a metal fan you can upgrade to with thinner blades? i dunno.

I went to a efan and the space saving room makes working on the car soo much easier. You have a serious reason to go to efan now, clearance issues, that is if you feel comfortable with going efan *as they tend to get mixed reviews by pro-clutch fan guys and pro- efan guys

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/hyperteks-budget-elec-fan-install-811725/

the taurus fan is a popular choice, as well as gm fans like the one from the fiero gt as mine is.

make sure you build a shroud for it if it doesnt have one. And check out the amperage they consume, might be something to consider just to make sure you wont have any probs.
