rebuild, what do i need?

i'm thinking of rebuilding, what do i need to order?
is there a part # for the whole kit? do i just ask for a rebuild kit? what if i need rotors? how much do they cost?
what does the kit cost? how long does it take to do.
i can rebuild a piston engine no problem but this will be my first rotary. does mazda stock the parts / kit?
any info that might help please let me know.
oh the cars a 88 na se. i have changed tranny's in a friends 88 so i know how to pull that with no problem. only took about 2 hours to pull out replace tranny and put back in.

He is right about the search, anyhow, as for what you need, it depends on what you need to replace. If you blew an apex seal, you will need all the soft, hard seals, and most likely a housing or two. I wont pretend that I can tell you what you need to complete you rebuild becuase I dont know the circumstance of which your engine blew. However, I can gaurantee that you will need all the internal 0-rings, after that you will need to find out. Seach around for the best deal.

If you want a reasonable idea what is in a kit, check out Atkins Rotary, their site has a list of what goes into their kits. Assuming a 1988 they run from $230-$925 depending on contents.

http://www.atkinsrotary.com/index.php?pag=20-6

I have no experiance with their stuff, but their are those on the forums that do, I'm sure they will pipe up

I did talk to them when I was considering using their services, very friendly and helpful.

I used the kit from atkins. The gasket kit and apex seals cost me about $600

They also have a cool video on rebuilding the 13b
