Really odd smoking question...
I was looking for a vacuum leak on my car and had turned off the fan for a second so it wouldnt spray the carb cleaner everywhere. After a few seconds, I look up and see my car billowing some smoke. At first I thought it was white so I rushed to my car to hit the fan switch back on. I take a look at the temp gauge and its normal...Not even 180 yet.
After the initial shock had worn off, I go behind the car and it smells like burning oil. I rev the car a little, and it goes away. I went back to checking for my vacuum leak, only to see the smoke again! This time, I stopped, drove the car around the block, and let it idle. It didnt smoke for the first ~30 seconds...Then it just started billowing again! So now I know its burning oil but I cant figure out why. I first suspect blown turbo...But it doesnt smoke AT ALL when Im driving it. Only when it idles for an extended amount of time would it smoke.
Well...Oddly enough, after pondering the cause of the smoke, the problem left as quick as it had came. My car just stopped smoking. I sat there and let it idle for a good 5 minutes just to make sure, and even drove it around the block again. Sure enough, no more smoke.
The only thing I can think of is since I premix, and the car had been sitting for a few hours, could the MMO have settled to the bottom of the tank where the fuel pump is? Could it have just been burning a rogue batch of MMO in the gas tank?
If not, what else could it be?

Yah, it could have settled a bit but driving around should have shaken it up. OMP acting up? Or did you ditch the OMP? Not sure if you installed the E6K yet.
Maybe MMO is a little heavier than regular premix?

I thought it may have been that too but when I was spraying it, it never increased in idle so I just figured it never got in anywhere...
Any more ideas?

UPDATE
I think I found the problem...
I had pulled the charcoal canister and plugged the lines to it. When it just kept smoking at idle today, I thought, "what have I changed since yesterday?". The charcoal canister was all I could think of. So while it was smoking, I cut the lines back and unplugged them and within seconds, it stopped smoking. Hasnt smoked since either.
