i've thought about trying to replace it without removing it, it looks way to hard though. it would go alot smother if you took everything off

its not hard, its only a few bolts taht hold it on, the hard part is getting all your vac lines and wires back, labeling works wonders here. if you do take the intakes off make sure you get new gaskets their only like 3 bucks

do yourself a faor and get a banjo bolt. it works, and its cheaper. also replaceyour injector orings, and your omp lines aswell as some vacume hoses.

Before runnign out and eliminating a necessary part of the car by using the banjo bolt hack, read through this and make an informed decision:

Edit...I may be weird, but in the 3 EFI equipped RX-7s I have owned, I have never once worried for even a minute about a pulsation damper failure...And in all the RX-7s I have worked on (lost count years ago) I think I've seen perhaps one pulsation damper failure...

My engine bay was engulfed in flames because my PD failed. Do the marren retrofit and that will be good times for you.

Manthat thread about PD's was rather interesting. I am still convinced that I have never noticed a difference with or without it. However I don't have any data or proof of it other than my Air/Fuel Ratio gauge. I never noticed anything erratic with it, then again I am not sure you would. Ted that parallel system looks great and I printed the diagram out for my next project.

You prolly won't notice a difference until your using larger injectors with higher cc.

aaron, this seems viable, but cmon, there is not overwhelming , but it fact that a banjo bolt has never EVER failed. not one reported incident. while there are thousands of reported banjo bolt incidents.
