Prayers to the rotory gods...
I have been playing with an S5 engine...trying to learn how to rebuilt one...prolly my only affordable solution..but I keep having a problem.
I put the engine together the first time and it wouldn't rotate a full revolution...I took it back apart and found what my problem was...no biggy...
I put it back together again and spun it before I tightened the tension bolts down to make sure it would go full revolution and it did...then I started tightening the bolts down. I didn't even put the full 30lbs on them that the book calls for and now the engine will not spin at all...is it possible for the housing caps to fit too tight around the rotors? What else could be giving me this grief...any help would be nice.
thnx

when putting the s4 t2 motor into a S5 NA, i had to make an ignition sub harness because the ecu clips were different, also, you really shouldn't try to spin that motor until its torqued, since the corner seals could get wedged between stuff........
