um, whats a rotory engine?

Like, I was born yesterday... I have no clue. Whats a rotory and why do people wankle over it? Whats all the excitement about?

The hell with rotory bullshit, I'll just stick with the stock engine in my rx7.

I'm with you, I would stick with the stock engine in your RX. Too much trouble to put a rotary in anyway. Plus they are so unreliable. And you are constantly setting the valves too. Plus I have heard that the finekin pins go out frequently, which of course you know can be very dangerous!

Speaking of valves, I am thinking of getting a high performance cam for my REPU with an 86 rx7 N/A motor in it. Any suggestions which cam to get? I want lots of power but I want it to still be streetable.

**** man, you beat me to it

I was thinking maybe some aggresive cams, race valves and springs, and then adjustable gears to move my powerband up to 7500-8000rpm...

....hmmmm, come to think of it, my powerband is already at 7-8K rpms
