How about just 6 bucks. take a pic with anything, and borrow a scanner or go to kinkos, staples, officemax and get it scanned. OR get film developed on a kodak cd.

sorry to bring this post back up but im the original guinnea pig who bought the covers from osa, and i seemed to spark some interest in something that is a tiny bit misrepresented . a month ago i thought since phins98(right name?) lived by me and seemed connected to this forum could come by and look and take pics and give a more respected second opinion ( than just some random smuck, me or all that anyone knows, posting pics of something so expensive) but it didnt happen so i snappedsome pics on a disposable camera and sent them to vaughn. he said they turned out good and will post soon for me but, hes busy with 7stock stuff right now, and thats his priority. not trying to pressure him into posting just wanted all those who might have interst in this subject to know that its not a dead issue and there will be pics soon. sorry i dont have the ability to post myself but soon enough i feel like he will post them. also sending to him, i think, will give some credibilty to the actual quality of the pics/covers so others will have a better chance of making the correct decision with these seatcovers. my ramblings are what they are but i think pretty much every regular forum member respects him as this is what i see when he posts. my main concern is to have these covers critiqued FAIRLY.
im obviously not trying to sell these myself nor am i affiliated with osa. my reasons for being so concerned are that ive read many a bad post about osa and their dealings, and I dont want anyone to have to get caught up in the misfortunes others have posted by dealing with this company. also there are a lot of scams being perpitrated on the forum lately and i dont want anyone to be a part of that either. i feel i was a little misinformed by osa as far as the end product, but not so much that im miserable about my purchase. his sales point that made me buy them was that they were a direct (in my mind 100% the same) replacement of the oem covers. but i think i stated above (not sure i havent read in awhile) that the texture and stitching is not oem. the overall quality was really good just not what i was expecting as i wanted oem direct replacements to keep the original, but new look to my vert. but i think i said earlier its still way better than any other do it yourself option and again they are extremely soft and comfortable, and very good replacements for the same money(that i paid) as any other option i could find, they just werent the exact same thing as i took off my seats to re cover with.
anyways i hope the pics come up soon and everyone can be better informed about an option to have new seats in their rides. after the pics come up ill make sure i post my opinion as to how the pictures compare to the actual product i have (whether they look better than they really are or worse) as i know how pictures can be misleading sometimes and i think im the only person who has the actual thing in my car to compare to. i wilkl answer anyones questions after the pics are posted to help better make a proper decision, with my experience with these covers.
i dont know exactly how long ive had them in my car but i can say they have held up for the (5 or 6 months?) time ive used them. ive actually taken the drivers side cover off because i forgot to put a cushion in when i installed it, and put it back on with no problems. there is no wear and tear yet, no ripping of the stitches ( and when i put the cover back on i tried to stretch it alot, as i learned a bit from doing both seats and the passenger side was much better looking, because of my learned experince from doing the drivers side first) my windows are not tinted, i live in florida, tops down alot, been rained on once. the only thing i can think of is that the lustre/ shininess i expected is not there. theyre not dull looking but not shiny either. maybe comparable to the lustre of a leather golf bag or maybe a non shiny leather jacket. no creases have formed yet, or evident wrinkles. i think if i armor all them theyd shine but we all know what that does to an interior in the long run. i only used aseperate leather cleaner and then conditioner 3 times since ive owned. once right after i installed and then 2 weeks later. the third time 3 or 4 months before the pics were taken (1 month ago i took the pics) no fading yet, i think theyll last good in my vert if i maintain a little more often.
hope the mystery can be solved once vaughn posts the pictures and i can give feedback on them. for the money in my area they are way better than ripped up seats and add some real class to an otherwise great looking car.
talk soon about it and once again sorry for my lax behavior about the pics.
