I love RX7s as much as anyone and Im sad to see it get destroyed, but that show still rocks. And think about it it, he had the slowest possible version of an FC you could get, an NA vert...the car DID suck. Pretty yes, a performer...no.

Some the the show is really lame (the monster truck annoucer crap), but the minigun was interesting to watch. I don't think he ment the RX-7 is a bad car, just that their project car sucked. Regardless, it had piles of cheese on top.

First, keep in mind that stripping the car down to body and drivetrain and then adding a 75 shot of nitrous would make that thing pretty damn fast. Also, I don't think that car was a good choice, but they did a decent job. They coulda done a few things better like fix the weight distribution and some other things.

What a shame......that is one less vert for someone to have some nice summer cruisin time in. Verts are cool for a pimp cruiser car, I wouldn't mind one for summer only.

I am not kidding when I say that I hated watching that.
When they say it was a bad car to start out with, they say it was bad for a DUNE BUGGY, and I agree. That car is a terrible dune buggy.
I really hated to see that, the FC is probably my favorite car. I would love to see that happen to a PT cruiser though. One of the convertibles with the fake wood panneling, that would be heaven.

BTW, that's the only way a piston car can beat up on a rotary.

Taking off you AC and PS is ghetto and yields no gains in straight line racing anyway (AC is off, no drag. PS is not pumping in straight line, little to no loss)

Stop bieng so cheap and do some real mods

on another topic:

In all fairness, NA vert was a horrid choice. Look what its going against, TUBE FRAME DUNE BUGGYS. did you REALLY think it had a chance?

Besides, I see alot of FC owners doing things just as bad to FC's

I think that was one of the coolest things I've ever seen on TV. Chill out guys, damn. It's just a car, not like they hadn't already hacked the **** out of it.

I've got from day 2 on; on video. I'd have to say that was probably the worst MG episode yet, but not because they shot up the car; that was the only good part if you ask me. Hell, I wish my vert could go out in such a blaze. But that episode seemed to focus more on the troubles of the crew than of the actual fabricating. I wish they would put two teams against each other building the same thing like in JYWs, and show more of the creative process. Either way, when my 7 dies, It's gonna go out like a man!
