My post didn't post. Let's try this again.

After removing the heater core I blocked off the heater outlet on the engine block with a rubber blockoff (brand HELP!) I found at Pepboys. 6months later the rubber blockoff develops a hairline crack and starts losing coolant. I guess too much heat. What else can I use for a blockoff. I would rather not loop hoses. Thanks. Brock

Why not try using metal and some silicone RVT is good

Tap the hole and put a bolt in it.
