OMP line.... help??

So a buddy of mine was examining the "mysterious rotary engine" and was dumbfounded at the differences between it and his 5 cylinder turbo diesel mercedes...

long story short, one of the metal ends to the omp lines is now broken off... I have NO money to get new lines, but I do have a spare engine. that is no good. So what I did was snapped off the omp lines fairly far back, and tried to take off another metal end, but the clamp part isnt unclamping... I hope this makes sense... I wont be able to put up a picture for a while, if ever, my phone is being supra ghey.

any advice/tips/ general info is appreciated. thanks.

Don't you have to remove a bunch of other **** to get to the end of the line though?

i know you said you can't afford to replace the line, but the supplies are very cheap when compared to the price of factory parts. check out this guide on making your won hoses https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-gen-archive-72/rebuilding-omp-oil-injection-lines-348068/

It was easy to make the new lines, and after shipping I think I paid a little over $30. The hard part is removing the plenum and upper intake. You can take this oportunity to remove the mess of smog stuff that doesn't work under there (I scored better on my smog test after i removed it), and replace the fuel lines.
You can do it in one weekend with basic hand tools.

Anyone happen to know the diameter of the oil lines going to the pump? gunna try and find some mini compression clamps.. I really don't any money left to fix this ****... it just needs to get on the road and be safe. I don't care about smog, and would take things apart, and replace the full lines if I had the money, but I just dont. And I would need new gaskets to boot.. I just can't afford it. So Mabe a compression clamp will work...

Unfortunately omp lines are not something you want to screw with. Your best bet is to beg/borrow a line from someone local and replace the whole line. As for the gaskets you can reuse them with a little rtv or similar sealant. It's not ideal but it's the cheapest way to fix it without risking a motor due to lack of oil.

You could also delete the OMP and just premix, but in the long run that will cost more.

So, since the lines aren't high pressure or anything, I am just going to go buy a crazy strong clamp, and put the line back together that way. It's just a DD. But I need to know the diameter of the line so I can get a proper fitting clamp. I have no tools, and am Fking HORRID with math...

Anyone happen to know the diameter of the lines for the OMP??
