I ordered some idemitsu pre mix and it states do not use with ethanol or ethanol based fuels.

My mind tells they mean fuels that are primarily ethanol like e85 would be considered ethanol based, and that e10 is fine to use, but I figured I would confirm what I am thinking is correct.

9/10 places sell gas with some ethanol in it, I will only use e10 (10% ethanol) , unless I can find a station that has pure gas, so my conclusion would be most gas is based on regular fuels.

That is the only gas you can get where I live, and it's fine.

Yes, I use Idemitsu.

you're overthinking it too much.
Most gas sold is 10% ethanol, and if you can premix E85 then there should be no reason why 10% would suddenly be a concern.Besides I think you are a little ways away from going E85 yet!!.(sorry man.).
No offense, but why are you so Stuck on Indemitsu?..Because someone on Forum states ONLY that..or else the car will blow up?..Horse Hockey.
What about the other 50,000 engines running No-name 2 stroke?
...Lay's potato chips cost more than Store brand, but store brand will taste just as good and fill you up just as well...
Chip???..I'm getting a beer...

More or less because its designed for rotaries.

For engine oil I use Castrol gtx, pretty much what most of us use.

If the Bottle isn't TRIANGULAR it wasn't designed for Rotaries!
How did Indemitsu know that Guys would knock their Omp off and need a Oil that is Premix "specific"??
..Does Kermit the Frog buy Castrol because the bottle is Green?
(ya know I'm just playin with ya..right??..)

from SAE 922375; The Development of Lubricating Oils for Rotary Racing Engines.

I use idemitsu because I can get it local and cheap...

If i was not able to do this, I'd probably use whatever TCW3 stuff I could get ahold of. There is no reason to be paranoid, unless you are not premixing at all.

I've only been premixing since December and the only thing I'm paranoid about is forgetting to premix after I fill up!

You should be pouring in the oil before you fill it with gas!

I carry those little "chainsaw" size bottles.I fill a couple of those and place them in between the Passenger seat and the door in that little Floor space.
When I fill up,I pop the gas door and the Passenger door..Glug of the bottle, squeeze of the handle, done.
Each bottle mixes about 4 gallons of fuel,so you can do a half a tank easy on 2.

I was like you, mad paranoid using top of the line premix. Until I ran out 1 day and had to use the cheap stuff. Made no difference at all. Now I just use whatever I can get.

They should start making idemitsu available to order , I mean really its only like a dollar more, 5 bucks isn't much cheaper.
