Gas,... ummmm well it kinda did. But somone told me that was normal. then again. this Guy is retartid....
Crap...
Anyway i found the Wire to the Condensor, But the Condensor is not on the wire. Looks it like Possibly Snap'd Off.
Is there a Way to Replace it? hopfully not a coax style wire.(2wires in one) kinda like a Head set.

Im off to change my oil on that gas smelling Note

This happened to me and it actually permanently fried the dash gauge, hence I now have an Autometer gauge in my din panel, and a dead gauge on my dash.

ok that being as it is.. did you need to Relocate the oilfilter and use another Sensor?
Or will the Stock one Still work on another Gauge?

Yeah same here...why didn't you just replace the guage itself on the cluster?

Yeah, screw replacing the dash gauge, its grossly inaccurate anyways.

I used the base (stalk?) of the stock sender that threads into the block, tapped it to the thread fitting for the Autometer gauge, and voila, built in adapter. I think I can find the thread about what I did....here https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/oil-pressure-sender-adapter-solution-517036/

There are a few pics

well the same thing happened to me after I pulled my cluster to fix my speedo cable that had popped off, oil guage maxed out every time I'd start it (or ON, can't remember), I swtiched out the oil pressure guage thats attached to the battery guage from a spare cluster and it works great.

The adapter you see if you look at the link was made, but you can find them at places like Summit and Jegs.

I am using an Autometer Full Sweep Electronic Oil Pressure Gauge Sport Comp II Series.

Damn thats a huge name.
