noob needs help

ok so i serched this but i could find the answer

i own an 87 TII its stock execpt for the k&n drop in filter the car has 106k on it

so the car will start but it just wont hold idle it turns on like normal it goes up to 3k rpms and the it just dies the only way that it stays on is if i give gas but once i let go it just dies so i though it might be the plugs but its not and i also replaced the fuel filter but that also did nothing so i have no clue whats going on... i was thinking that it might be the either the fuel pump or the injectors but i dont know i really dont have a lot of cash to be throwing around right now if you guys could help me out i would appreciate it...

thanks in advance
Ramon

Check for an air leak or a disconnected AFM. Did this happen after you worked on the car? Did you possibly forget to reconnect one or more of the hoses that connect to the intake pipe?

Turbo Inlet Duct goes into turbo and the other end has the intake

Air Flow meter-between the intake and the TID.
