No spark! Help!!

I have done an extensive search and I am unable to find an answer, please help!

I have an 87 N/A with a street port. My problem is that the car will not start. There is no spark. I tested the coil and they are within spec. I grounded the engine to the frame, the ECU to the frame. I am getting juice to the coil, but none out. I am getting fuel and airflow seems to be correct. I pulled the wire out of the coil and when I turn over teh engine there is no arc of electricity. I am at wits end. What could cause this problem. Please help.

CAS hooked up?

Check both coils?

Sorry, can't help much more than that at the moment, recommend reviewing the FSM on this, it should have test procedures for checking both coils.

I checked both coils with a multimeter and they both read within specs according to FSM. Input to coils is correct just no spark. New batt., new plugs, new wires. Just no spark. Thanks for the help.

Crap, second thought... Check your fuses. My friends t2 has a similar problem... The cause was a blow egi fuse.

Always check fuses with electrical problems...

Perfect example is my sister and a ford dealership

Her cigarette lighter wasnt working, 4 lighters later I looked at the fuse box and three (or four) of them were blown.. go figure.

I tested the fuses for continuity and they test good. I will probably replace them anyway just to be sure. I really don't want to plunck down $300-$500 on new coils if that is not the problem. I want to check everything else first. Thanks for the insight.
