No Spark

i recently did a S4 TII swap in my s4 n/a. my motor turns over and everything, but wont turn on. it seems in not getting spark. my coils are good, my plugs are good and my wires are good. i did that thing where you stick a screwdriver in the plug wire and hold it over your shock tower but it didnt arch at all. some one said it could be the igniters in the coils, and to check them but how the **** do i do that? and any other thoughts and what it could be?

make sure you dont have spark, get a spare plug, hook it up to a leading wire, sit it on something metal and crank and see if it sparks.

make sure your starter is good and your solenoid isnt locked up (tap on your solenoid under your car). Also make shure that all your grounds are good.

Are you positive the coils are good? You should check the resistance across the terminals to make sure. The only other thing I can think of is that you have a bad ground. Is the CAS plugged in and functioning correctly?

First things first. Do you have 12vdc at the black with yellow stripe wire at the coil? If you have 12vdc then is the crank sensor good? And the computer good? Are you getting pulse from the injectors? If you have 12vdc at the injectors and 12vdc at the coils the check the crank sensor. If the crank sensor is good then replace the ECU. If you do not have 12vdc the check for power at the main relay.

I'm with you on that one.

Check the resistances on the coils, and see if its getting power. You can't do much without a digital multimeter, so get one.
