Question need info on NT water pumps please!

Well, i have to get a new water pump for my S5 NA, im trying to buy it online, since all the stores want 90 bucks, and want me to wait 2 weeks...

My question is are all NA water pumps the same? All the web stores have the water pumps as fitting FB's to FC's and im pretty sure this is incorrect.

Do FC water pumps differ between S4 and S5? Ive tried doing a search, but for whatever reason my computer/internet dosnt like this site very much, and is refusing to let me search... just sits there loading... and when i try and back out, and try again, it tells me the admin has disabled searches within 20 seconds of each other.

Any help is much appreciated!

I've swapped S4 pumps/housings onto S5 blocks (both turbo) so I know that will work.

Not sure about Turbo vs. N/A but from looking at them it appears the bolt pattern and everything is the same - BUT I COULD BE WRONG THERE.

And FB to FC I have no idea. If we're talking about a GSL-SE then I'd bet it would swap to a S4 or S5 N/A........but from a 12A I have no clue.

all T2 pumps are the same, all n/a water pumps are the same as well but not interchangable from n/a to TII without the water pump housing as the bolt patterns on the pumps are not the same. i also do not think a 12A pump will work on either n/a or TII 13B.

Yeah, i kinda answered my own question while looking at mazdatrix, the S4 and S5 (both NA) have different bolt patterns.

Does anybody have any recommendations as to where to get the cheapest (price wise) water pump?

all the places that im finding, that are cheap, in the 55-65 dollar range all list it as 79-92 rx7 water pump... and never asks for specification as to what exact year water pump you want... and that wouldnt make me too happy to buy a water pump made for a GSLSE, and have to deal with sending it back, and all that crap.

I almost got a brand new waterpump off of ebay... but somebody outbid me by a dollar... bastards! And now the only thing on ebay is 130 bucks

Don't cheap on the waterpump. If that fails, a lot in your car can break.

Spend the good money and know that it has been done right....

WTF is up with all this misinformation???

Zenki turbo water pump will NOT swap with a Kouki turbo water pump - I'm sure about that.
The bolt pattern is different, and one bolt doesn't line up - if you don't secure this one bolt, it'll leak.

I'm pretty sure the non-turbo water pump is the same as the turbo water pump, so if the years are all the same series, then it should swap.
Therefore, a Zenki non-turbo water pump should not swap with a Kouki non-turbo water pump.

I'm talking stricting about the water pumps and not the water pump housings.

My post isn't mis-information. I stated pump AND housing - which I currently have an S4 TII pump and housing on an S5 TII engine. No leaks and no trouble bolting it on. Dunno how that can be mis-information.

I covered the my other postulation with a disclaimer of I don't know for sure.....soooo - ?
