need a few pointers please (searched)
straight to the facts, i have a 91 TII with exhaust, garret t4 turbo, obx fmu, stock intercooler, factory injectors, japanesse ecu + chip, walbro fuel pump, OS clutch and flywheel.no a/c, etc.. so my questions are...
1- fist question is regarding the pyrometer.. im kinda confused when is the safe point and when is the danger point,,bcause when it reaches 13 to 14 im already letting go...is 16 the danger point or am i doing right.?
2- seing my mods, besides bigger injectors,, what could i be missing to reach my 300 hp goal....?
3- is an FMU really going to cut it for 12 psi??
thanks in advance

to reach your 300hp you'll need (like you said) bigger injectors in at least the secondaries and to tune the fuel going to your injectors, i'd recommend an SAFC. that FMU isnt going to do much and your TMIC is going to be any better at the boost your running. since your pushing that stock intercooler to its max, i'd go with a FMIC. at least you'll be on the safe side. what kind of ecu/chip combo do you have. like a tuned rom ecu???

..
i already bought the intercooler, just waiting for some time to install it... the ecu is very strange, it came with the motor and has jappanesse writing so i cant really understand at all what it says, the weird thing is that it has sort of a switch atached in wich there are two different programs. one im guessing is for normal driving and the other gives it more fuel..

now i'm curious about your ECU with this "switch" that you speak of. got a pic? regardless, your going to need more fuel and that intercooler is a must. you're goin to want to be able to control the fuel that goes into the motor. at least an SAFC if not a standalone. since you have an pyrometer, you can tune from there. correct me if i'm wrong but doesnt an EGT/Pyrometer read in temps and not AFRs??
