Port the intake manifolds and do the Throttle Body mod as well while you got the engine apart. Do a search for a how to on both.

Upgraded apex seals? Which seals you plan on using?

don't get me started on "Nos"

oh and make sure you get proper counterweight/flywheel to balance the assembly with the lightened rotors...

Good god, why? There is no way with his list of mods that he needs it.
Setup and tuning on a haltech is hard, and it doesn't seem like he's trying to produce that much power.

Stick with the stock apex seals. you have no needs for upgrades.
As for NOS, its only those who ultimately have no experience with it who complain.

Skip the apex seals.
-Lightweight flywheel, clutch (recommend ATC)
-CDI box
-S-AFC for tuning (no haltech)
-fuel pump for your nitrous (important)
-ditch all emissions, p/s, a/c
-TB mod
-intake manifold porting
-plug wires
-suspension, brakes, short shifter... want some more?

What kind of direct port system where you going with? Why direct port? You realize how big a shot that is...
Form your list I think you would be satisfied with a normal kit.

There is no need for a complete EMS unless your getting some serious work done. An AFC would be a good idea.

I'd check into the 2-piece 2mm apex seals from atkins rotary, 3rd gen oil pressure regulator, and 3rd gen side seals. They're better than stock but don't require the added expense of machining the rotors to take 3mm.
