May have to ditch the almighty T2 soon:(

my emmissons are in April at this time I see no logical way of passing w/out dumping tons of cash into it, I know april is down the road a little but the way I see it, if I have to sell it should be sooner than closer to tab time so the buyer of the car won't be suspicous
Any suggestions on passing? or is it possible I can go into the sticks where emmissions don't apply and just buy my tabs there??

if you have any rotary shops in the area they may do inspections...and maybe they would be lenient with them. maybe if you become friends or slip him some extra cash he'll pass you

they have emissions in WA state?

yes and if you don't pass you have to prove you have all emissions equipment and prove you've spent like $250 trying to fix, only can pass @ emmisions stations

Are you giving up?

My understanding is that you will pass emissions if you have a cat and air pump, puting those back is not a a big deal.........

go to the muffler shop, get them to cat the hell out of your exhaust. Play it cool, and you'll make some friends and pass

from what I've been told you need both cats, the airpump, and possibly the stock intake to pass, also I'm streetported how will this affect
If I sold it I wouldn't sell it to you guys because i want as much $ from it as possible, you all know it's true value, I want to find an ignorant rich boy that wants a 13 sec car

My NA had a ported engine, no 5&6 ports sleeves, RB header, stock cat, HKS cat back and a HKS filter. The car passed both VA and MD emissions test!!
