LIM issue?Pictures inside.....

Not sure what's going on but this is off a S4 J-Spec TII. The one hole circled is open and the one with the arrow is sealed. Also I started this thread before https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/do-i-need-gaskets-these-895869/ and never really solved the issue. I bought the o-rings but they just don't fit. This is holding me up from putting my motor back in so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Clean the grooves with a pick and carb cleaner. It must be perfectly clean on the block and the manifold

Right I figured that but like I said if you look at the pictures one of the holes is plugged/sealed with aluminum. Also the o-rings just don't fit.

The o-rings sit in the block. They just seal against the LIM. And the 2nd hole is supposed to be sealed. Only one is needed for the turbo water feed.

Thank you RotaryRocket88 but about the o-rings if you click on this link https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=895869 to my other thread you'll see that I know they go on the block and they don't fit. Is it maybe because it is a j-spec motor?

You need new o-rings and the grooves need to be very clean. I have Jspec manifolds and the o-rings fit fine, but only after I cleaned the grooves very very thoroughly. It's just like installing coolant seals when rebuilding an engine.
