I have a question.

What are the odds that my fc has four piston calipers. I need to buy brakes. I'm no where near my car right now so i cant actually check. any way i can find out for sure?
it was originally a gxl that got t2 converted. i still have the brakes from when i bought the car so im not completely sure. Cause if i have single piston calipers or four. help is appriciated. thanks

Just look at them. if they have "Mazda" across the front of them. then you do. But if its a GXL it probably does.

if they say "Mazda" like mentioned before, they are 4 pot. Or if you have a: GTU, GTUs, GXL, Turbo II, or a Vert, then you have 4 pots as well. Or if you need further assistance, any of the RX-7s with 5 lug wheels have 4 pots. That should help you figure it out.

You won't need anything more than 4 pot for most street and track applications BTW. With some Hawk pads those 4 pots will stop a freight train. If you bought anything else you would be wasting your money.

That is incorrect. Some S5 models came with single piston front brakes but had 5 lug wheels.
