Ok so i am looking to order a 13B-T this week sometime. I currently have an N/A and want to swap it. The motor comes with wiring harness ecu intercoler transmission all the fun stuff... Is it worth it to swap it? Its about $1700 and free shipping to a business so im going to get it sent to my work.

I'm going to be putting it in my '87 GXL. Will it just bolt in even though i have an N/A in there right now. What is there special that I will have to do if it doesnt. I need all the help I can get because I am a noob to this Mazda stuff, all my friends have Hondas and swapped B16's and what not into them but I wanted to be origninal and go with something non-honda. So please just tell me all that you can about swapping this motor...

Also the gearing on my N/A seems so long. It takes me so long to get up to speed and it seems like I'm in the gears forever, when I swap the new motor and tranny will that change or is that in the Rear end itself?
