THe cheastest thing I have money in right now is the convertible and it comes to 3k+- a few dollars, this was mostly interior pieces new top ect. To bad I have not had a chance to get it installed yt, mainly because I am still prepping the car for paint.

With all of my cars(just rx7s, and ive owned 13) i would say close to 60k, but this also includes the cost of the cars in the price, and I owned 2 fds that i sold and that was the bulk of the money.

Including or excluding the tools to do all the work? Including them, probably $4000 or so, excluding them probably about $3000... and it's still at least a month away from being drivable. Though thankfully I think I only need $100 or so more in the way of parts to have it actually running, and then whatever it costs to build the sub box and the wiring for the stereo. Not much compared to some, but then I am for the time being just getting it running and not doing much in the way of performance upgrades (that will come next winter).

my car = 1800
exhaust = free
intake = made it
minor interior pieces = free or made it
stereo = 120 and free

That's right, I'm a cheapass. As soon as I get something else to drive I'll be dropping around 20k into my 20bt swap. Can't wait to feel that GT42 spool up.

I stopped counting pretty much after I spent 5k on the car itself. I also stopped keeping a list of mods....

But I know im over 20k total. Track cars are expensive. They tend to eat brakes and tires very quckly.

Alright, thanks for all the responses! It made me feel better seeing that some people said $6K-$16K. I am at like $8K so far. I have bought quite a few new/reliable parts plus mods... so that may be why I have spent more than I thought.

Well for one I could be driving an RX8 paid for easily for the amount I put in my car (And still have cash left over) and it never ends. Its crazy. I try not to even look at it and then one day all of a sudden bam a few more bills goes into it. I tried when I smashed my gxl like 7 years ago to walk away from rx7's. I ended up getting my 10th AE.

I will not even post my amount for shame!
