How do I know what series is my car and if it came stock Turbo II or was just made turbo ii? Is it on the title? on the ViN? anywhere?

Well If they converted to a TII then Props to them because it's a bitch! I know.
Anyways. Icemark made a thread a couple months ago I think on how to decode your Vin.
(Where it was made, year, type, blah blah blah)
The easy way to tell.
If you have a Series 4 you will have.
Rectangle style taillights.
The bump strip side moldings are black on matter what color the car is.
The front bumper looks like this.
It's hard to see but it is flat at the bottom. It doesn't have a contoured middle section.
Series 5 will have
Round tinted taillights.
Can have Fog lights on the front.
The bump side molding is the same color as the car paint.
It has a cool front bumper with bigger brake duct holes I think.
It will have the stupid automatic seatbelts.
hmm.
I bet you it's a real TII and not a conversion.
The only real way to tell if it's not is to check the ECU and see if there are any new wires spliced in or something. If they did a ghetto swap then there will be the non turbo transmission on the car. I doubt that though.
