holy sh/t

looks like i have to figure out how to do auto -> manual swap by myself, my mechanic said just for labor it was going to be like 900-1300 just for the frcking labor thats so damn gay seriously. i see peeps on this forum that had their mech do it for around 1k for parts/labor, there is no frickin way im going to pay that much after i already bought all the parts. So my question is, is a regular guy such as myself capable of doing something like this i mean... i dont want to kill myself or totally ruin my car and ive never really worked with a car in that way before.. kevin landers gave me the complete sheet on how to do it. do i need to have my car lifted up? k enough ignorant questions from me

Yeah it would be much easyier if you had all the right tools meaning a transmission jack car lift, and all the expensive goody's, but if you don't have that it might be easyier to just pull the engine, what were you planning on doing??
