Look everywhere the fuel lines run. I'd start with under the car, if you ran him over his hoof or some crazy **** could have fucked up the line. You also could have knocked around the sensor in the tank, and you might still be at half a tank, but it reports as full.

The best way to check for fuel leaks unfortunatley, is with the car running, i'd start with the engine bay while its running. Look at your fuel rails and pulsation damper, touch to find leaks. Then follow the lines that go under the car to the tank. Most likely its the sender in the tank thats fucked up. Check the FSM, im sure theres something on how that works.

Post some pics of the damage if you can, heh.. i want to see some deer meets car action.

Jam a screwdriver in between the rod and the assembly at the top, then pry it off. It's hard to break those plastic clips.

I'd start at the rear and work my knife up the gullet and then pull out everything that is loose and discard. Then I would start at the hooves and cut around the hoofs and start pealing back the skin, working my way back toward the ..........what ????? Then I would make sure and get the back strap (venison Filet Mignon...yummie) B4 my neighbors ask me for.......what???? I can't hear you in the back........Whats that????? Oh YOU meant the car!!

Nevermind

No, the level sender and the low level switch are two different animals....

Ha, I'm not the only one attacked by Bambi, eh? Totalled mine (bought her back and fixed her back up).

Yeah, the rods just pop off/pop on...

hey i see you got your car running lol. and now you hit a deer that sucks. glad to here it was easy enough to fix tho. about the gas tho i would say check all the lines and see if any are leeking and then if they all turn out ok check and see if the float got seperated inside the tank. hey it could happen

ya i have all kinds of shitty luck but i am happy i dint REALLY **** up my car it could have been worse ..... i had now were to go though oncoming trafic and a good drop on the side of the road all i could do is is slow down to about 40 and hit it at a angle .... all i really fucked up was the passenger head light asssembally and the hood wicch i had spares and the flash to pass lens wich i dont have a spare ......... and that damn fuel gauge which i have to figure out why it stoped working .... im bad at keeping gas in my car with a working gauge much less one that dont work...lol ill prolly run out a couple times before i get it fixed
