help with jspec engines wireing

ok i thought long enough and i finally decided to get a jspec s5 engine but i wanted to know with the wiring could i use halteck with the same wire harness. Also is it that much of a pain to re route the wires from the rightside to the left ?_?

haltech uses its own harness. you would not be using any of the stock engine harness.

I'm not into EMS's But Ya,it would be easier.Seeing the Haltech has a harness specifically for the Engine. If you decided to use the stick harness, which is 20 years old anyways, then you would have to take it apart and then Cut the connector off at the ECU end,and then Adapt it to fit the Haltech.Too much hassle, and it wouldn't be Dependable. Also Look like Poop!
If you are looking for a Cheap harness,no Ends, then Go to the DIY website(I Think) they have a harness for 65 bucks.
anyways, for what its worth, get the Harness that is made for the Haltech.

basically the haltech gives you a bunch of unterminated wires. you have to put the connectors on and use GM sensors. you dont use any of the stock sensors or the engine wire harness...

it would be easier to use a NA harness than the jdm one if you want to use the stock ecu.

the haltech would be your best but might not be necessary for your application.

but its a turboed engine im buying i thought the N/A Harness wouldnt work.

Also would mircotech lead to less complications? Like not changing the connectors. As you guys may have noticed im not electronics and first time messing with ecu's

microtech is the same deal...i dont know if you use the stock sensor or not.

regardless if you go standalone you are gonna be paying a couple grand for the unit and to have it installed and tuned.

stick with the stock stuff.
