:help: Header and O2 sensor worries

I have a RB Road Race Header on my car... I notice that there is one O2 sensor... of course... but its a dual exhaust... so this means that only one of the two rotors is being monitored for A/F ratio.

1: Should I be concerned?

2: Should I put a bung and second O2 on the other side and put in a A/F gauge in the car?

3: Is there a system that can input two O2 sensor signals and output a single mixed signal that I could send to the computer/piggy-back?

Thanks in advance.

Any other suggestions as calling RB would be alot of money on my phone bill since I only have a cell.
I'm afraid that there might be differences in injector spray causing one rotor to lean out.
Anybody got any ideas... tips... anything???

We put bungs in both pipes and alternate which one the 02 sensor is in. Unless you are going with a wideband and are trying to tune it within an inch of its life, one rotor will be fine. Besides if something goes wrong the damage will probably be done or the car will run bad enough for you to tell somethings up. On a race car I had a switch to feed a meter from different sensors, most of the time I ended up leaving the switch alone.

the meter counts PPM. Parts per million. so unless your two rotors are drastically different. than its still counting PPM.

I have the same header and that's the way it was explained to me when I asked the very same question.

So no worries then... I'll leave it alone i guess.
I just never thought of it untill I had to actually put it on the car.
The O2 is new so I guess its as close as I'm gonna get for now. Thanks
