hi there, my names Roy. i stumbled upon a thread about you making fiberglass hatches with lexan windows weighing in at only 15lbs. are you still making these? i would like to keep it on the hinges if possible (i dd my 7 and i premix), what could we do about keeping the hinges and having the lightweight hatch? where are you located? if im correct you're in fl? if so then, instead of shipping i could just come pick it up and you can help me install it im currently building a new motor (4 port bridgeport with quad itb's on a megasquirt). i would love to pick up one of these since im trying to reduce the weight of my car to the max of streetability. can you make lexan side windows too? that would leave the only glass being the windshield. im not sure how oon i would be able to invest unless my fiancee finds a job soon then my build will go alot quicker. it's just nice to finaly find someone making them for future reference.

I worked on Gary Ouellette's RX-2 back then, I see it mentioned in those Daytona results you posted. We built that car in the back storage room of Pruitt's Cyclery in North Palm Beach. I am sure I saw your car at some of our races but I have no memories of it. Somewhere I might have some pictures, I took my camera to the races in those days. Your brakes look like the ones on our car. Pretty sure all the brake stuff on our car came from Mac Tilton. I remember making ducts, collected air from 3" hoses and squeeze it down to the little space left between the inner rim of the disc and the upright. Gary's car was white with a blue stripe along the side. We used to kid him that it looked like an Entenmann's truck. He was a rep for STP so I am pretty sure it had STP stickers on it too. I think I made it to 3, maybe 4 of their events before I changed jobs, moved to California. I remember Daytona at least once, Atlanta once, Talladega once.

Hi, I'm new to this site...goggled "fiberglass hood" for my rx7...and I ended up with your name.
Do you still make fiberglass hoods for the FC? do you have pictures? and, of course, price?
    thanks, Bob
