Yes I am aware it has vert wheels on it at this time. The purchase of this car included the original 16 inch mesh wheels.

Not the prettiest one here I'll bet, but saved it from the crusher lol. Got literally the tub to replace my really bad t2 s4, so it has s4 turbo gray interrior, turbo drivetrain and power plant and even the entire harness is s4, my interrior is complete and I good condition but will peice together black interior to make it as close as stock possible.

This is not a GTUs, it is a GTU. GTUs did not come from the factory with sunroof. GTU could be optioned with a sunroof.

 

there is really only one way to be sure that you have a GTUs. If the Vin number in the door jam shows non-turbo however it came with turbo 16” rims. Otherwise anyone can make a sticker and put it on their car and claim it is this rare model.

just my opinion after seeing a GTU on the GTUs registry list.

 

Honestly, redoing the list with some proof would be nice. I haven't been here since the start of this thread, but I know a lot of people thinking they meant GTU haven't been included already. As far as the sunroof thing goes, it's entirely possible to have sunroof GTUs, as some of them were added at the dealer later, so like Rotary Police said, only way to tell is cross checking the vin/tire size stickers.

Not going to start a new thread, but I won't be adding any more to the list without proper proof.

 

Also, as far as the google sheet that I've been keeping up with. I'm going to go back through and mark a confirmed column on any I can find proof of. So we can know for sure on those ones. instead of me redoing the entire sheet over.

Take me off, I parted mine out and sold the non rolling chassis. Last I heard it was resold to a group of guys building a drag car.
It was a legitimate GTUs though, I wasn't a confused GTU owner.

Mine was validated through Mazda Motorsports at the time. Now Mazdaspeed. It is one of the real 1990's (not restamped VIN) and it was the first RX7 off the assembly line in 1990. Pretty cool.

 

I do have you on the registry, ATB. Such a cool car.

 

proof to these claims? The only way to prove that is a real GTUS is by showing the door tag and the Vin number on the firewall. If it is a legitimate GTUs it is absolutely amazing! How long have you had it?

did you ever take pictures of the door tags and firewall vin so it can be confirmed? Even if it was parted out and is no longer around it should be registered and confirmed so that we can determine how many legitimate models Mazda produced!👍
