Garrett T3 question

Would putting a Garrett T3 turbo on a TII be a good upgrade over the stock turbo? Just wondering because I hope to get a TII, and the owner of the shop I work at has a T3. The turbo isn't being used and I could probaly get it off him in exchange for some hours.

I think like they are max out around 350 hp. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

alot of after market turbo kits use T3's,T3/T4 hybrid, or T04b.

Halo

aren't t3 turbos like REALLY small?

like, they're the stock turbo on geo metro turbos and etc, I think

I might just be pulling this out of my ***, but I'm pretty sure that they're smaller than stock.
good on an autocross car maybe, but not on a big HP highway monster.

T3 and T4 use the same center section. But the housings and the wheels are smaller on the T3. Any T3 turbo is going to be way too small for a 7.

T3s are the stock turbos on pre-88 dodge turbos and pre-87 ford 2.3 turbos. they can move enough air for highish HP (~300) but only at super high boost - the ford guys run 17-18psi to make 300hp and the dodge guys run boost past 30psi.

the buick 3.8 t-type/grand national used a larger version of the T3 - I *think* it's the Super 60 - this would be the only T3 i'd imagine would work any kind of good on a 13B.
