a frickin' nightmare...
Hey people, omg I'm soo bummed...anyone ever got a bad batch of gasoline?
Last nite I came home on fumes, too burnt after work to stop & fill up. Asked a friend (a good friend, but one who's completely ignorant when it comes to ride's) to please bring a can with a couple gallons on his way over, he does. He gets here and puts the gas in while I'm in the shower, we kick back for a lil bit, he eventually takes off.
Hour later I hop in my whip to run up the street for a sec, my 90 Rx7 vert starts up, i get to the end of my driveway and it dies. No biggie. I go to restart it and "vrrrrrr..." it just whales at this high pitch- like something's free spinning, like no compression.
Took me a couple hours (slowdiagnosneewbie) after methodically checking the starter, ignition, fuses, plugs for spark, fuel pump, relays etc., all that stuff you check, to find all four plugs like s w i m m i n g in something the didn't smell at all like gasoline.
I find & pull the drain plug on the gas tank catching a decent sample of this "liquid" in a empty gatorade bottle. I set it on the workbench and run inside to go pee. By the time I get back the liquid had separated into 2, the top looked like gasoline, but the bottom was this weird watery white crap--that sort of resembled a manjuice & h20 cocktail.
The manjuice apparently has no combustible/energy producing qualities within it, which is why I believe my Rx7 said, "me no go for you ri now".
So guys, besides dropping & flushing the tank, adding some "dry-gas" or similar to it with some good high-octane fuel (and a lil 2cycle oil for the seals, replacing the fuel filter, what else might i do to dry out my soggy plugs (i'm gonna go get some new ones today) and halt/prevent the dreaded rust-factor ?
Suggestions tricks or tips?
Like am I completely fuq'd or what? I'm so depressed...what else should i doo?
P.S. I have another car, but putting my Rx7 in (the shop) = out of the question right now $speaking. Fyi I'm pretty ok with directions, and I have more tools then girls usually have in their garages. Okay...thanks in advance for the help.

Maybe since you ran it dry you sucked up sediment from the bottom of the gas tank. Try running a bottle of Seafoam mixed with about 3 gallons in the tank. Should clean it out.
Any idea how I might get the h20 out of the cylinder thingy's (where the spark plugs sit)?
Wont start, just rev's really high with no change in pitch (soundwise)...I do have spark tho.

There are no cylinders in a 13B.
Drain your tank entirely.
Buy new plugs (they're cheap, $25 normally for two leading, two trailing. Make sure to get NGKs)
Follow the deflooding procedure (remove EGI fuse, crank for 10 seconds at a time, 3-5 times) mix a gallon of gas with a half can of seafoam, and put that in your tank. It should start up just fine.
Make sure your plug wires are on in the right orientation.
She should fire right up.
EDIT: It'll smoke like a bitch though, that's seafoam at work

I would be careful about adding any extra stuff till you get the crap out of the lines. Flush the lines, don't hope for the seafoam to dissolve the crap and run it through the engine.
You might have to squirt some oil into the sparkplug holes to allow the engine to build compression.
BTW, kick you stupid friends ***. What he did is not funny and could not have been an accident.

If the gas Got to the engine, then I suspect that it is also in the fuel Filter. So you are gonna have to get under the Driver's side of the car and remove it and Either Revers Flush the Filter or get another one. While you are at it you can also fill the Tank up wit h gOod gas and Give the lines that go to the filter a Flushing out..that can be done byputting a jug on the end of the line Before the Filter and Running the Pump Until you figure that the Gas is GOOD...Now,when you have got all thet done and have the filter back on,Take the Plugs out and roll the engine over. This will get the Extra Crappy gas out through the Spark plug holes and the Exhaust..Once that is done you should be OK..If teh car doesn't start up right away, try the Deflooding procedure with some Motor oil..it should start up Pretty well right off the bat(If the car had no problems Before the bad gas was in the picture.).

Pull the plugs, unplug fuel pump, crank the engine with the gas pedal down for a few minutes. You will see gas and water shooting out. Reconnect every thing and it should start.
