Angry flooding

i hope i dont make anyone mad by reposting i searched through archives but...anyway i have an 87 13b it usually starts allright but if i shut it down and go into a store for a few minnutes or more when i come out it will flood when i try to start....a guy told me the seals were going bad in the injectors and i could put a plastic inline with a needle from a motorcyle carb in the fueline and this would keep the fuel from seeping in...its too cold to be popping the hood and pulling the spark fuse..im getting soo agitated i put the car up for sale..is there an easier fix for this..im really new to mazda...another problem im having is the dash lights cut on and off and the wipers stay on when i turn the switch off..do these 2 problems have anything to do with eachother??

If flooding is going to **** you off maybe you shouldn't have the car in the first place.

If you don't want to go and pull a fuse install a fuel cut switch. That will do the trick. Then save some cash to have your injectors rebuilt or buy new ones.

a fuel cut switch is the same thing as pulling the EGI fuse. Without the trouble of getting outside the car.

Yah, the car I'm looking at has a switch under the steering column the guy installed that does the trick. Pretty handy.

About ready to install one myself, my car is flooding even after having the injectors serviced.

I am at my wits end figuring it out, but I won't sell it. Now I am on a mission to get it running like it did when I bought it.....starting easy every time, hot or cold.
