stylEmon is right, you can not import 3d objects into flash itself, however you can render images, and videos and import them into the timeline and on the stage itself, you can also drag and drop psd files as well so you get transparent backgrounds...

someone has to put this model into a flash video/or winamp vis. so i can use it on my LCD screen winamp/cd player in the 7.... **** would be tight to have rotating in the background
on my car....maybe a graphical equalizer in the background behind the car.... could make an awsome show-off piece...

thanks for the work man, hope you can make an N/A version with TII hood, never liked the spolier...

looks great, lol

If I recall you can import 3d models into Flash.

I think the plugin is called Swiffer or something. Can't really remember the name, and google produced some not too descriptive results.

Got the trim pretty much done for the outside around the hatch....but people...I'm really starting to suffer here in terms of money, so ANY donations would be great, just PM me if you have a paypal account and would want to see this project completed. Thank you all for your encouragment and help over these past few days, or maybe even a week now...hmmm...

A friend of mine developed a plug in that allows you to take the actual 3d model into after-effects and animate, light and render in AE, but it had all kinds of hang-ups. Sure there my be something out there that is similar, but i doubt it is worth it at this point. It is much easier ,and makes more sense, to just use renders.

For a simple loop animation, there is no need to even incorperate flash

I've gotten a few promised of donations so I figured I could spend today working on the model rather than out looking for a job...

Man, looking great. Glad the 10 bucks I gave ya is producing some excellent results. I can't wait until you provide the actual finished model files and we can all play with them ourselves. Maybe even find a way to export it to 3DS Max or Autocad.. that'd be perty cool.

Anyways. .keep up the good work!

Probably one of the last updates until midnight, people are coming over soon and we probably will do something tonight...

Anyway I moved and fixed the points so that you can see the outline of the window better...

Interesting methods... I'm a Lightwave fan myself (exports/imports .3ds and .obj as well! ) and have been contemplating an FC model too.

She's getting smoother all the time...

Starting to look good now, hope to finish the details here and start splitting the body itself apart...

Looking really good. I have C4D v9.5 and I'm going to digitize the S5 13B I have in the backyard. I'll do it first in UG and hopefully I can find a converter, if not I'll recreate in C4D.

That looks killer. Now you have to emulate stock color codes. Also, the trip around the windows... or whatever that gray stuff is.... needs to be black atleast.
