FC injector plugs- which one goes where?
ok on both the primary and secondary injector harnesses there is a long and a short injector wire(s) i presume the short ones go to the front rotor and the longer ones to the rear. can someone just confirm this for me??

Im not sure if this is correct or not, but I recall someone saying that the injector plugs in the middle of the harness goes to the secondaries, and the injector plugs at the end of the harness goes to primaries... but I dont know if that is correct.

for the S5...

The other wire in each plug is a different color. Look at the diagram and it shows you for the front primary the color is Light Green.
Front secondary is Light Green/White
Rear Primary is Light Green/Black
Rear Secondary is Light Green/Red
See page B-2a in the online series five.

The injector wire colours are the same for all FC's.
The injector plugs are pretty easy to reinstall as the wires are all different lengths and will naturally fall close to the correct injector. If you have to pull the plug to reach the injector even a little bit, it's the wrong one.
Still, this is a good lesson in labelling plugs before removing them...

Don't post unless you know what your talking about! (humor). I've always wanted to post that statement.
Each injector wire for a low impedence RX is a different color. On RX with high impedence injectors one wire at each injector is the same color (black/yellow) and the other wire at each injector connector is a different color.
The attached jpg is for a EARLY series four with low impedence injectors. If you have a high impedence car, then the wires will look like the series five colors I mentioned in the other post. And yeah, the harness lays on top of the engine and falls into place. Long wire to the secondarys.

To clarify what I meant, all FC's have the same colour wires between the injector and the ECU.
