Is that black paint, or some kind of sound deadening stuff that you spread on there?

It's Krylon rust tough enamel semi-flat black spray paint from Autozone.

All the sound deadening material was removed, includig A/C( totally removed from engine bay and under dash ), P/S, air pump, heather, everything under the dash, speaker towers, exhaust heat shield.

Looks great. What did you use to remove the sound deadening material?

This is the junk yard thats pretty close to me... $7.50 per bucket seat and $5 for the rails if you take those too. I ended up getting a perfect set of black leather for my maxima for about $25... rear bench was $10

You guys are making me want to rip stuff out of my 87 SE and get it running for autocross.
Good work on your cars!! I might try the black paint. That makes it look alot better being stripped out.

Take my word on this. Don't paint the interior completely black. It makes it hard to see when working inside the car. My last race car I did in black and will NOT be painting the floor of the FC black. I'm going gray so it's not too bright, but I'll still be able to see when I drop something.
